I know there is no current data saying man made co2 causes warming.

I don't think that using the best statistics we can show we are warming outside natural variation as we have been warming since the last ice age.

But... selling a greenhouse gas 2000 times more powerful than co2 is an extreme risk. Especially if someday we develop the science showing man made greenhouse gases are currently causing warming.

the risk of selling such a gas should cause extreme cognitive dissonance for an agw fanatic.

It could drive a normal person to self medicate and perhaps snap. Hopefully, for his neighbors and us he gets his extreme personal angst out here. I guess you can say we are doing the world a favor and maybe helping the world not get damaged from an eco terrorist by arguing with him here.

I just encourage him to either quit his job or moderate his views for his mental health now and his future freedom in the world the left wishes to realize.

He will not fare well in eco terrorist court if there ever is one, given his rants here.

But not if it's a manmade greenhouse gas, right?

you still don't care what the science is showing do you?

co2 levels have been following the change in ocean temps up and down...not the change in human output of co2.

That is why we say man made co2. Its because there is no proof that man made co2 is changing overall co2 levels.

Do you wish for me to track down the stats and the data I have showed you multiple times?

So why argue AC gas is 2000 times more powerful than CO2, which gas is not a cause anyway but merely an effect? It's utterly illogical.

I know the science on man made co2.

I have not done similar research on other greenhouse gases. Especially one 2000 times more powerful than co2. So I am not making any arguments about that gas and its impact on the environment.

I am just trying to walk a mile in an agw nutter's mocasins. I would not throw him in jail for it. But if he would throw me in jail for spewing carbon then he should be serving a life sentence for selling this gas for a living.

For instance, it would be morally wrong for me to cheat on my wife.
It might not be different for Bill and Hillary.

because if there is global warming caused by modern life. Controlling Carbon emission is the way govt can control every aspect of your life. They could tell you where you can drive and what you can produce and consume. Its a leftist big brother utopian dream. The party wins and controls all.

  9. I am confused. All I read is that Trump and the evil republicans are selling a platform of "fear." And that that is a very bad thing.

So "fearing" terrorism is bad, but "fearing" global warming is actually a good thing?

It's a good thing we have an unbiased ever-vigilant media composed of 23 year old journalism graduates to sort this out for us, because we ordinary citizens with our advanced STEM degrees ,etc could easily become befuddled.

Based on the probability of a given US citizen experiencing an act of terrorism vs. the probability that that citizen will experience global warming, and also taking into account the 18-24 month vetting process for immigrants, and the utter lack of action on global warming, then fearing terrorism is comparatively irrational.
