See this was the headlines last week....

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on Tuesday teased that the Trump administration has reached its first trade deal, but said it was not fully finalized and declined to name the country involved.
The stock market rose to its highs of the session following the comments, as Wall Street is watching closely for signs of progress in trade negotiations.

    (Meet the Press interview)

"Trump: Eggs.. you were the one who asked me. It was the first week. I didn’t even know what you were talking about. Egg prices were so high you couldn’t buy eggs. They didn’t have any eggs.. We had Easter at the WH and we had thousands of eggs and they were down 87%."

    Down 87% ....

I was at some local spots that sell eggs and in some areas they are still 8 9 10 15 dollars for a dozen.....average price seems to be around 5 to 8.....

87% down means a carton of eggs should be around $1.50

Docks sitting idle? Perhaps we didn't need all those docks in the first place. Shipments collapse?? All the better to turn those shipping containers into affordable housing and no more 30-year mortgages!!!

And yes we should be very excited indeed for the tariff rates to come down but not with our tariffs on China's crap but China's tariffs on us.

The docks are not seeing any John Deere or Caterpillar tractors and Boeing is not sending any jets to Beijing or Cargill/ADM bulk carriers loaded with soybeans, wheat and corn etc etc. Bet all our major exporters are happy o_O about that.

You will pretend the deals are better. We know that already it's Trump's habit. In term one, he threw out NAFTA and then negotiated a 'better' deal. I defy you to identify what about the new deal was better for the US. Recently Trump said whomever created that deal for the US was stupid, forgetting that it was his deal. You aren't winning anything in these Trade Wars and you'll see plenty of losses piling up as the impact of all this happens. Go ahead tell me what you gained in Trump term one when he tried this tariff thing before. Be specific.
