'No One Truly "Loses" in the Stock Market' Right. Everyone's a winner. A "Bently" in every driveway. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/lambo-rolls-bently.325097/
No one mentions the fact that a trader's numerous mistakes is what causes him to lose most of his monies. You will lose monies when trading or investing as nobody bats 100%. It is the edge or expectancy that matters. If a trader only wins 30% of the time but, his average win is $300 and his average loss is $50. In 10 trades, you expect him to win $900 and lose $350. So, he is a net winner of $550. Positive expectation like Las Vegas casinos. Also, most retail traders or investors never take accountability for their failures instead, blaming the Stockmarket as rigged. If the Stockmarket is rigged, why participate?
Obviously, the market is rigged psychologically look at the pain @S2007S and others express here every minute of every day. Weak minded non thinking people follow - Traders who make money know it's all bullshit. BTW THIS TREAD SHOULD BE IN THE HALL OF FAME FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.
Im not sure why you get so irked by S2007S posts and threads. I find them funny, its like seeing the perma bear click bait video on Youtube, sometimes I click on them for a good laugh and silly drama.. "when t-bond yields go up the world is ending also when yields go down the world is ending. " lol
S007 buys a stock at $15 it goes to $75. Then he sells at $75 for a nice profit. Then comes the market guru BrownMark who says this is the time to buy. He picks it up at $75. Then boom the guy he voted for starts flip flopping on tarrifs and the stock goes back to $15 and stays there for 10 years. Trump tell’s BrownMark you’re winning baby. You get the rest hahaha what a putz. What ChatGPT version is this guy using bro? The Korean one hahahah
the guy who sold it 20 dollars higher. so if i never owned it and i sell it from 20 higher i made money while the guy who bought it 20 higher lost. both ways if its unrealized or not the money is still there. someone gets the money. if a guy buys at 25 and its now 15 "lets say he lost or is holding and hurting" another guy has sold at 25 and is now happy cause it went down to 15 regardless of whether he is still holding or not. and if you can't get this - you have been properly brainwashed by the system. Someone who buys near the top and sells lower funds the gain of someone who timed the market better. ✅ Conclusion: It’s Not "Loss," It’s Movement No money disappears in the market—it’s just reallocated based on decisions, risk, and strategy. Understanding this dynamic is crucial for traders and investors alike:
