I'm a big hockey fan...a big fan of the Chicago Blackhawks, Montréal Canadiens, Québec Remparts, and Québec Pee Wee International Hockey Tournament. That's an old video from several years ago between Toronto and Buffalo in a game in Toronto attended by many hard-core fans from Buffalo. In addition, Toronto's games are like Montréal games and the Pee Wee International games with a large American base in presence of Hockey games. I wouldn't call it a tradition but if a mic breaks down during the singing of the Canada anthem...Americans in the crowd will immediately begin singing the American anthem and then Canadian fans will follow by joining in the singing of the American anthem. The same is true vice versa and it's a happen a few times in which the mic breaks during the singing of the American anthem between an American team and a Canadian team at an American hockey rink...Canadians in the crowd will immediately begin singing the Canada anthem and then American fans will follow by joining in the singing of the Canada anthem. Everybody cheers and laughs afterwards. wrbtrader
You missed the point entirely...nope it's just showing good neighbors being neighborly. As pointed out a lot of Buffalo fans at Toronto games but any city in Canada could finish the anthem. It's Americans like you who make Americans say they're Canadian when traveling abroad LOL.
No, no you completely missed the point. Don't try to pretend you didn't. I mean it's pretty self-explanatory that the spirit of video is being good neighbors. I was thinking about posting a title saying "Canadian hockey fans being good neighbors" but thought it was kind of obvious...I guess not.
Hopefully you're better at trading than reading comprehension. I just checked and apparently you are a paper trader LOL.
