A Staunch Republican Tries Obamacare ... And Discovers That It's Actually Pretty Awesome Here's what he had to say: âI would tell them to learn more about it before they start talking bad about it,â he noted. âBe more informed, get more information, take your time and study and not just go by just what you hear on one side or the other. Actually check the facts on it.â âI still am a very strong Republican, but this⦠Iâm so happy that this came along,â he continued. âOur home is paid for, vehicleâs paid for, this is our expense that we have. We have more expense on medical care than everything else put together, so this is going to be a great help for us.â ------------------------------- No need to ever vote republican.
Let's not miss the important quote about comparing the Obamacare price to his previous insurance coverage... "(after the government subsidy he gets because of his low income level)" He can thank you because YOU are paying for his medical insurance.
Glitch-ridden Obamacare website going down for maintenance over weekend http://news.yahoo.com/glitch-ridden...n-for-maintenance-over-weekend-220718826.html The government website where uninsured people in 36 states are expected to sign up for health insurance is going down during "off-peak" hours this weekend to correct a variety of glitches, the Obama administration announced late Friday afternoon.
Healthcare.gov works great if you take away all those damn people wanting to sign up for it, says the Chief Technology Officer in charge of the site. "These bugs were functions of volume,'' Park said. "Take away the volume and it works." The Obama administration's top technology expert explains why the government's health care website isn't working and what's being done to fix it. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/10/05/health-care-website-repairs/2927597/ The administration's explanation didn't impress a Bush administration official who helped launch Part D in 2006. "Whoever thought it would draw 60,000 people wasn't reading the administration's press releases,'' said David Brailer, former national coordinator of health care information technology. "The Medicare Part D site was supposed to have 20,000 simultaneous users and was (built for) 150,000, and that was back when computing was done on an abacus. It isn't that hard.'' So let's ask Obama's U.S. Chief Technology Officer Todd Park how many simultaneous users is too many - is it 2 or is it 3? Nothing says FAIL like Obamacare.
Obamacare glitches: why they might help end government shutdown The problems with the main Obamacare website â Healthcare.gov â appear to be more than just glitches. The website on which millions of Americans are expected to sign up for health insurance in the next two months needs more than increased server capacity; it needs changes to its entire architecture, according to news reports. http://news.yahoo.com/obamacare-glitches-why-might-help-end-government-shutdown-183213058.html
Beyond Obamacare glitches, some consumers face dramatically higher rates As Obamacare begins to roll out, some people who already buy insurance on the individual market are getting cancellation notices â and offers for coverage at double and triple their old rates. http://news.yahoo.com/beyond-obamac...face-dramatically-higher-rates-212141638.html Insurance premium increases shock Charlotte consumers Across North Carolina, thousands of people have been shocked in recent weeks to find out their health insurance plans will be canceled at the end of the year â and premiums for comparable coverage could increase sharply http://www.charlotteobserver.com/20...nce-premium-increases-shock.html#.UlLg-lC1GPM
Where's AK47 and his progressive propoganda when it's needed most? Hopefully Ricter or the other handful of "useful idiots" can get busy "cuttin and pastin" to perpetuate the myth.
There is a demand, just not much of it. If there was real demand, people wouldn't be getting fined for not participating. If there was real demand, there would be no need for a subsidy. Take away the fines and subsidy, what do you have but another failed government project. This is a template for growing government, nothing more. Does nothing to address the real problem of rising heathcare cost. It's like saying we're going to fix the high cost of gasoline by eliminating buses and giving everyone a cheap car to drive. Everyone now has their own transportation. Whoopee! Wait, now there's more traffic conjestion, longer lines at he gas station, overall gas consumption is up, gasoline inventory is depleted as a result. Yep, that would drive the price down. NOT! This is exactly what we're going to see in healthcare.
