No Need for Capitol Security They Said....

  1. Tell it to the dead cop. Fact remains the 20,000 troops stopped nothing. Now if some groups launch some full scale military type attack, they will play a role. If such a thing were to happen we'll know the intelligence community failed completely in doing their job. For attacks like the one today it's the cop on the beat who does the job, not the military.

Finally Nancy P was successful in her job of being responsible for the security of the Congressional building
It only took 5000 troops and 500 million $$

The National Guard are used only as support to the U.S. Capitol police. Simply, the Capitol police will be the first line of defense.

In fact, today, after the auto ramming of the Police...the National Guard were then deploy without the red tape that happen on January 6th.

Two units were seen immediately...one strengthening the specific locations around the Capitol and another unit sent inside the Capitol to reinforce a very small unit already still in the Capitol.

Deployed as a "quick response" unit although I'm a big fan of Sniper and Ranger tactics. Simply, that auto speeding very fast at the police officers should not have gotten that close enough to ram them.

  4. Greetings unto thee Captain.

I have not read any of this troll thread but I see the trolling title of it.

Indeed you are correct. To answer the question, yes we do need Capitol Security, always have, always will.

But -no- we do not need units from U.S. Army 10th Mountain Division permanently stationed there. Assign them instead to a true combat situation- such as Chicago. I am joking- OR NOT.

The original poster lives in DC and like the rest of the beltway types he wants an army to protect him when things get rowdy but I live in an area that is in greater need of an army to quell the lefties and we are offered up aromatherapists. As the expressions goes: "Sometimes where you sit determines where you stand."

Not so ironically, we had a man a group who bombed the US Capitol. His name was and is William Ayers. Barack Obama was pretty much down with that because it had a nice Che Guevera feel to it. Bill in fact launched his campaign for the Illinois Senate in Bill Ayers living room. There have been many wacko and political threats to the U.S. capitol. Under all administrations.

seems like it might be a good idea to wait and see what the media has to say b-4 commenting
I am wondering what news source identified the ideology of this attacker as a "Trumper"? Yes, I am asking in hindsight however you seem so sure of it. What news outlet declared the reason for this attack without verifying?
