Early last year I was watching a TV show (I don't think it was on Fox or CNN) about a guy touring America and talking to only Trump supporters that voted for Trump in 2016... I immediately notice two particular women from the midwest (one from Indiana and one from Iowa). They were college educated Black women and on their bookcase in the background were books by Louis Farrakhan. Lots of distractions to dig through. This one is not about race, it's about religion. Radical Islamist launches an attack, feeble but deadly, on Christian holiday. No more complicated than that, and we see once again that a determined killer cannot be stopped no matter how many precautions and deterrents are taken. Not that we shouldn't take said precautions, but there are no absolute "safe spaces".

Did he make it into the Capitol or on the grouds to kill anyone there? So the security did its job and an officer lost his life. Also there ar eonly 5,000 national guard in D.C. right now. You think the death of a police officer is the right means to make a joke about national guard needed after January 6th? A cop died defending an attack on the Capitol.
