I am confused.....Trump had control over both houses and he could have easily passed a bill to fund a border wall.....why wasn't it an issue until the Dems won back control of the House...

Why does Schumer, who has basically said the exact same as Trump concerning border funding, now flip flop and deny what he has previously endorsed? This fight has been going on long before the Dems won back the house.
