No Day Trading Margins for NYMEX with Interactive Brokers?

    Does anyone know why IB has no day trading rates for their NYMEX contracts?

    It's been like this for months now.

    they are restricting margin due to recent volatility. btw I'm interested in opening a day trading account to trade NYMEX products. any suggested broker? can you open an account with $50,000?
