Do you mean their inventory is growing(?)... ie they are sitting on stuff thats not selling? If so, thats not good. But good to know.

Nike Raises Nike has announced raises for around 10% of its workforce. The company says it has conducted a "deeper analysis" of employee pay than usual this year, in order to make sure its wages are competitive and "support a culture in which employees feel included and empowered." $43 million of free media coverage, but no mention of the $2 billion in market value lost in that same 24 hours because of the ad. Nike lost almost $400 million in revenue in North America in the last year. Why would they think backing this Anti-American doofus would help sales? Look what happened to NFL ratings because of that ding dong. Any reasonable person will see Nike will take a hit in their north American market because of this.
lol $4B. Can someone get this idiot Peil a calculator? 1.28B shares. NKE down $1.5 from ad-release. $1.92 billion. Less than 2% drop.
--------------------------------------------------------- Can someone get this idiot @destriero a book on accounting? Market-cap is based on shares outstanding, not the float. This is like entry level stock comprehension here. NKE has a float of 1.2B shares. It has 1.62B shares outstanding. So at yesterday's close, its down over $3 Billion from last Friday's close. (At the time of the post it was down $2.7 Billion)
