NKE play?

  1. Nike is down almost 2% right now because one of their jets has landing gear problems and is circling Portland.

From what I have read, officials say that "there is a high chance of landing the plane safely as there has never been any major injuries from faulty landing gear"

Do you think the price will bounce back up after the landing?? (presuming it is safe and all)

Most landing gear problems are generally not that big of a deal. If I'm hearing the news correctly this one has a main gear partially extended. Of all the combinations
of possible gear extension problems, one main gear down and one up is probably the worst case. Simply because it's harder to keep the plane from yawing sideways off the runway. If the pilots retract the good main gear and land on the belly it should be a non event. If they don't the odds increase for an undesirable outcome.
