  4. Goooood moorrnnnigggg Europe!

Not bad for my first live trade...

    06:37 EST
    L EX @4423, stop @ 4416
    06:38, flat @ 4435, +12

I have no idea how this will actually document due to euro denomination. Will have to wait and see when daily statement is available. Euros, dollars, rubles, as long as it's green trade, its all good. :)

Based on my limited exposure to EX Im chalking this up to beginners luck.

EDIT: EX# is iqfeed symbol (continuous) for FESX.

EDIT: coffee and cig time. It was good for me. :D

Being proven right on beginners luck. Barely moving for the last hour. At least theres volume. Can't move this market with 1 contract like what happens in YM. :)

My least fav kind of trading...

Gap up or down, and then nothing but consolidation within a narrow range.

Calling it a (good)night, +12. Gotta get ready for my day gig... YM, ER, NQ.

    Until next week

I noticed that FESX did that quite a bit. A good move followed by lots of chop, chop, chop in a fairly tight range. If you can catch a ride before the big move you can set your stops and just wait it out.

  8. Yes, I have noticed many extended consolidation periods too. But interestingly, imo, there are way fewer failed breakouts/downs from these periods. Makes for smoother (easier) trading.

Keep in mind I have very little experience with this instrument. I am in play and learn mode.

    Thanks for the comments
