NinjaTrader users: is your data feed freezing ?

    I personally think it's more to do with NT, not data feeds or AMP. But what do I know.

    No issues for me today...NT7, Ninja/Continuum.

    I can confirm there are no known issues with NinjaTrader at this time that may be causing this behavior. For these types of cases, we tend to approach them at a case-by-case basis. However, we always recommend upgrading to the latest release. Please find upgrading instructions below:

    To upgrade NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below.

    • First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
    • Click on the link
    • Enter your license key and press Submit
    • Select 'NinjaTrader 8' as you are on NinjaTrader 8
    • Select 'Download'
    • Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

  6. I had a remote connection attempt kicked me off. I sent it to support.

    Extremely pleased with platform and service. Amazing platform just gets better as time passes.

    That also happened to me also. They told me I needed to "set a new password" like that would solve the problem....

    Is it your datafeed freezing, or your screen freezing up, where you click on charts and there is no response at all?

  9. They said, error comes from backend not communicating properly. They reset password anyways.

  10. I spoke with an AMP rep this morning to find out how many users had experienced the problem on Tuesday. While he couldn't provide the number of users who'd contacted AMP, he stated "many" people. In reply to my question about their locations he said "from countries all around the world".
    He also stated that up to the time I called him this morning there'd been 4 or 5 new reports of the data feed not updating.

    The only place the problem seems to originate is with NinjaTrader servers which receive the data from whichever vendors, and who we in turn connect to via the NinjaTrader platform we're using.
