So you actually tested Vista x64, the least performer of the x64 available OSes and found it not responsive vs. Win 7 x64: not a surprise Before Win7, the X64 Windows OS references were Server 2003 and its son, XP X64.
I downloaded NT7 when it first became available and received both 32 & 64 bit versions. Have since downloaded all updates and now don't have the 64 bit version. Checked the bin64 folder and it's empty. Any ideas what might be wrong? Am running Windows 7 Home on a Toshiba laptop, i5, 2GHz, 4GB RAM.
Has NinjaTrader (NT7) sorted out the problem with their connection to IB TWS 918? I think its been over a month now since I upgraded to TWS 918 and found out NT didn't support it (surprise ). Which forced me to to uninstall TWS 918 and reinstall TWS 917, which of course wiped out all my TWS settings and presets. I myself find looking for information on the NT Support Forum, a lot like searching for the proverbial needle in the haystack.
Found this posted this morning on the NT support forum, The current recommended version of TWS to use with NinjaTrader remains 917.8. I'll take that as a no 918 is not supported even though I'm running the 917.9 version
Actually i really don't have any idea why, But still this was not confirm yet. i was also looking forward for the new intel i7 chips.
If I am using a VPS with 1 GB memory, which Ninjatrader 7 version is best to run, the 32bit or the 64bit version?
