Would anyone have the indicator code for a marketprofile-like indicator(preferably volume based), for the Ninjatrader charting program
    Thanks

There's one but you gotta pay to play.

Check the third-party vendors on their website.

Volume Profile is bundled with the free package but you've got to pay $250 for a full TPO and volume profile package.

  4. Ninja may be a good platform for trading, but they missed big time w/ version 6 charting and their volume studies implementation. They offer volume at price but if the chart is edited you've lost all the collected vap info.

I too had seen that $250 indicator.
That's why Id hoped due to the number of coders here, that someone would have written their own

Given that someone is selling it for $250 a pop I doubt anyone is altruistic enough to put the effort into creating their own and then give it away for free.

Well, I have free market profile indicators for MT4 and Sierra Charts. It seems a quite standard indicator, and though i can no longer program, the code seems quite simple from the coding ive seen. The $250 price tag for the 3rd party ninjatrader indicator is well... everyone has to make a living

For full Market Profile (not just some horizontal lines on a bar chart) you typically have to pay $20-50 a month extra so a one-off price tag of $250 is not so bad.

Dont waste your time looking for a volume tool. Ninja is the biggest joke in execution software I have ever used. Its amazing how many people use it blindly without realising its negative impact on bottom line. If you are serious about your trading then forget ninja!

I don't have a problem with it. Everything, including volume indicators, works fine. The only "issue" is that some of the volume indicators are real time only which is not unusual, especially for a free charting package.
