Download and Install NinjaTrader The first thing you need to do is download and install NinjaTrader and it may tell you that you need the Microsoft .NET framework. If it does, you just need to link to it from the link below. You will also need to register to access our download page and then you download the "current release". Once you register, a simulation license key will be sent to the email address provided as part of the registration process. If you do not receive it shortly after filling out the registration form, it may have been routed to your spam folder so please check it. Click "run" not "save" when the download box appears. http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/support_installationguide.htm Once NinjaTrader is installed on your PC, follow the instructions to add the simulation license key as provided with the license key email. If you get an invalid license or license expired message when entering the license key it is one of two items; the key has been entered incorrectly, usually an extra space at the end, or a firewall is blocking the license from verifying. Firewalls are the most common problem so make sure you authorize ninjatrader.com as an exception in your Firewall settings. Using Simulated Data with âtrend controlâ You can now start to use NinjaTrader with its internal data feed and this is the best way to learn how to use NinjaTrader because it includes a "Trend" feature that allows you to move the market up of down.
