Anyone else having problems connection to Ninja trader via CQG. Using AMP futures. Went down at 11:41 a.m. EST still down as of 12:45 p.m. EST. Cannot even get into the CQG website .... www.cqg.com
FroggerMan: I posted same on the Ninja Trader support forum and got this reply by Matthew @ NT: Hello, We have received reports of a possible ISP issue NY in regards to CQG. We are currently looking into this further.
When I lived in NY my isp (cablevision) had a problem accessing IB's website and I was unable to access TWS. Sounds like it is probably a similar issue.
Are your orders (stops) located on your computer or with AMP? If the latter, it seems very risky for day trading.
Orders are with AMP. Luckily did not have any pending orders when CQG went down. Been lucky ... this is the first time that I have had CQG go down since I signed up with them in Sept 2011. Was originally on Zenfire.
We are receiving reports from traders who use Comcast in the NY/NJ area of connectivity issues. Unfortunately, these users will need to contact their ISP directly to troubleshoot the problem. Users on Comcast are unable to ping www.cqgtrader.com or ping via IP 208.48.16.200 . Regards, CQG | Support
