    Hi,

Does anyone know if Ninja trader takes advantage of quad core processing? I know Tradestation only uses 1 core.

    thanks

  2. I have a dual Xeon machine that I tried to run ninja with and had issues to the point that I gave up.

I was in all fairness trying to run a custom scan on 1000 stocks (TS does it ok as well as blocks)

it was not a dual core but rather two cpus on one MB.

If you not running big scans either one will prolly be ok. I use NT for charting on my home computer (also a dual xeon HP workstation) and that works fine.

    Best to you

    Thanks 1Reason,

Both platforms run ok on my machine since I don't do the stock scans. I was curious to know if NT actually utilizes multicore tech since TS does not.
