I have downloaded Ninja, can't find how to connect to feed. I don't want to pay for feed at the moment.

Check your email you used to download it for demo log-in instructions.

NinjaTrader itself does not provide a free real time feed. We do have a free EOD feed courtest of Kinetick.

Instructions to connect to Kinetick - http://www.ninjatrader.com/ConnectionGuides/Kinetick-Connection-Guide.php

If you require real time, we can connect to multiple paid for market data services or a brokerage account should you have a supported one. Below is a link to all of our connectivity options.

  4. get a demo from AMP, Mirus etc futures brokers, the data feed is realtime

  5. I know this is probably a dumb question but is Ninja Trader and Zenfire about the same?

1 is a platform and 1 is a data feed for the platform

NinjaTrader is the end user trading platform.
Zen-Fire is the trading engine that NinjaTrader connects to that provides market data and order routing.
This is different than a pure data feed like Kinetick which does NOT provide order routing.

    Ray:

I don't use Ninja trader, but maybe in the future. I'm not going to uninstall Win7 SP1, so when will a new addition of ninja trader come out that'll support the updated OS.

    thanks!

NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.3 Beta supports Windows 7 SP1 and we will be releasing 7.0.1000.4 (not beta) in the next few days that supports Windows 7 SP1.
