Nikkei chart & Japanese holiday

  1. I am trying to figure out that nIKKEI 225 daily chart, looks like yesterday was the first day in the week and the action was very bearish. It must be accounting for some of the weakness in US futures this am. Why was that market closed on Mon-Tue?

  2. Osaka was closed Mon-Weds so today was catch-up day. Thus, probably not as bearish as it appears at first glance, or not any more bearish than world markets during the first half of this week.

Kospi was also closed yesterday and look at that one -3%. Quite bearish in Asia and Europe today.

Saturday to wednesday was Golden Week in Japan, a major holiday that happens every year in May.

  4. Thanx guys. Found the answer 10 min after posting on CBSMKTW , could not delete thread.

Nikkei doesn't look good, I am long some Q's overnight , just wondering what's going on.
