    The all time high was about 39,000 if I remember rightly.

    No, I meant our recent high of 16765 or whatever it was. I'm not talking about the absolute all-time high. That will take years...

    Long term, I look for the Nikkei to trade within three years above the all time high of 40,000. I put $100,000 into the Japan market yesterday (I could pull the money back out at any time as I buy and sell a Topix 100 Index tracker on a day by day basis). I think the Japan market is now fairly valued; However, I also think the new generation of young Japan investors will over do things.

    So you buy the equities and not the Topix or Nikkei futures? With 100K in futures you would be up quite a bit today. hehe.

    I bought RYJPX (Rydex Large Cap Japan benchmark Fund). The futures move is great when I am right but puts the pressure on when I am wrong.
