Taiwan = STW
mini Niikei = N225M (closed tonight though for holiday)

STW = $10/ tick
mini Nikkei = 500 yen/tick

 

Stopped out @ 349.60. I don't let winners turn into losers. I was trying to cover one @ 350.00. Price tapped it a few times but I didn't get filled.

Now flat on the night (- commissions).

 

Turns out I got shook out of a nice move by 2 ticks. That's trading for you. At least I stuck to my rules.

Very low volatility so far in Taiwan. I wonder if it has anything to do with Japan being closed. The correlation between those markets seems to come and go. Lately it hasn't seemed to much correlation at all.

SPI had some nice action during its first hour of trade. I didn't participate though... I'm not ready to trade a contract that big yet.

 

STW not moving anywhere today

 

If we don't get any action w/in the next half hour or so I'm going to bed.

 

Short 1 STW @348.20. Willing to add up to 3 more if it keeps pulling back.

 

Added another @ 348.30

Stopped out 1 @ 348.20

Can't get any follow through.

 

Stopped out 2nd at 348.20.

Still flat on the night except for commissions.

Lousy price action tonight.
