  3. Name another person who has produced a dozen plus billion dollar fund managers who give credit to the person for training them how to trade?? Perhaps if you would start learning from those who are truly succesful, despite the obvious losses, you would start to make progress.

The above is just one aspect of what can be learned from VN. He is truly the greatest living speculator alive today.

  4. When did VN say this? Others have said it about him, but I don't think he ever "boasted" this statement.

  6. Stop obfuscating the issue and retract your lie if you cant post the source.

    once again,

When did VN say this? Others have said it about him, but I don't think he ever "boasted" this statement.

  7. Here's a verifiable quote - from the Preface to Education of a Speculator:

"At the other end of the spectrum of wealth, trading expertise, and hands-on parenthood from my dad, my counter theme will be the lessons I learned from my friend, George Soros, starting in 1981... George is, by popular consensus the greatest speculator in history."

Thought you were a "friend" of Vic? If so, you know damb good and well he kicks people when they are down. Remember all those traders he referred to as hoodoos? Looks like he became one himself. More than once.

That definitely ~is~ the funniest thing about Vic. Making fun of traders who blew out.

Since I like a good challenge and there is this thingy called the internet at my hands....

    2006 May 31 Bloomberg interview:

"``The ridiculous thing, in all candor, is that I think I've had the greatest run of success in the history of speculation,'' Niederhoffer says."

P.S.: Maybe he meant he was the luckiest... :)
