Last month I have posted a rating on IB here. Since then there was 5 ratings on IB that seem to respond to my negative rating with positive ones, while not all of them relate to my rating some of the did mention it clearly.
Since the broker rating colum is not a place to argue, debate, and hear from ET members, I figured it would be a good idea to have a thread on that.
So the question is , is IB's autoliquidation which can liquidate anything in minutes (exercised long option, coverd calander spreads, vertical debit spreads) a bulldozer?
I think it is, for people that trade on margin overnight and are not always by their computer.
Now I know IB has a ton of advantages which I'm not downplaying, but they liquidate position in my view is just dangerus, and that's the basis of my rating.
