That article was written by Erik Meijer, who I believe is involved with the F# project at Microsoft. Many of the issues that he talked about concerning dynamically typed languages seemed to be addressed by F#. I would argue that a C#/F# combo will become the language of choice. From what I've read, its seems very promising.
