Just to be clear, I am a fan of the underlying concept of NFTs but I have never collected much of anything, so I couldn't tell you what's going to be valuable in the future. In fact, a $12 million baseball card seems just as ridiculous to me as any of the expensive NFTs out there.
I agree. But let' say Maradona's shirt, you can at least wear it during the coming nuclear winter. There is a huge difference though: Expensive collector items are for HNW individuals for bragging rights, while NFTs (with zero intrinsic values) are pushed on average Joes as good investment opportunities.
