You are questioning others' wires in their brain? That's funny coming from the guy who shilled cryptos like a maniac and called everyone broke who did not swallow his pills. Then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, he is extremely nice, polite, nothing in the world can agitate him or bait him. Polite demeanor... And then... All of a sudden, as if he had left behind a week of anti psychosis treatment, he falls back into the old pattern of shilling and barking at everyone who makes fun of cryptos.

Tell us, who is it here who has a few screws lose? What we all want to know is, what medication are you experimenting with right now, cause we all WANT IN...

  2. Hard to know why we even engage in this. Neither side has an open mind

  4. Just because the highest bid is $10k doesn't mean the price is $10k. You can't buy it for that price. This is like any illiquid asset, the quotes are often completely meaningless because nobody is making markets on this stuff. Last sale is more informative unless it's outside of the spread.

I was just thinking that as much as Bitcoin at $40,000 is one of the riskiest gambles in the investment domain currently. NFTs like Bored Ape are exponentially more risky. I have no doubt that fads like Bored Ape will be worth almost nothing within a couple of years. Perhaps replaced by the next big thing; though at exponentially lower than today. Shorting NFTs of this sort would be a pretty safe bet if it were possible.

NFT's are very, very risky. For one thing, they are not as liquid as other crypto assets that you can trade in and out of, there's always a bid/ask for btc, eth, sol, etc

However, with very very high risk comes very very high rewards

In the past 7-10 business days, hardly anyone on ET knows about this thing called Moonbird NFT

It went from a mint price of about $7K and as soon as it hit OpenSea marketplace, it kept shooting up in price $20K, $25K, $30K, $50K I believe it topped $120K, it's currently sitting at around $91K

    -------------------------------------------------

All of that happened while the stock market was crashing, and btc/eth/sol and all the major crypto assets were languishing

Now, the ET folks who are the best traders could have bought and sold as it was going up and made $20K in less than day, right?

The problem is that ET people are not crypto people so they don't even look at these opportunities

There's no way that I know of to short NFT's...

Just to add some color to this post, I notice that the Bears Deluxe isn't doing so good. I'm fairly certain you're still positive on this, but from a floor price of about 3 ETH months ago to barely 0.5 now, its quite the dump. Not sure if you're still holding onto some of your bears, but I can't help but think that NFTs are perhaps more trading/gambling vs. true stores of value. Who knows, maybe your Apes will be seen as Picassos one day, traded only amongst the rich, but I still think there is much more inherent value in a Picasso than an NFT Ape.

Yea, very sad to say I'm still holding 5 of them. I let so much profits get away :vomit:

I sold a couple above 2 Eth a while back and I sold one above 1 Eth, but the last 2 I sold was around 0.5x Eth

This is the one I have 5 listed for sale in staggered prices, but only 2 of them are listed for above 1 Eth (as they are rares) and none of them sold after about 7 days already

It hurts to think I could have traded all of them for 1 BAYC six months ago. Coulda, woulda, shoulda :banghead:

Bored Ape is not selling for high because of the art, but it's because of the community projects online and the real world

But is anyone more successful predicting what the next big NFT will be anymore than most people can predict what the next big penny stock will be? Hind sight, and all that...

You would have to spend a lot of time to research and stuff

Moonbirds were hyped up before the release. There's big money from VC's playing around in this market, in case you did not know

Here's the next big thing that's being hyped up. Bored Apes (Yuga Labs) land sale on the (Otherside) metaverse. Will you be trading it? Gonna be expensive...

I have a Bored Ape so I expect to get an airdrop of the land sale. Maybe I'm wrong, we shall see
