There should be an issue with medical information going public
Are there other pathogens players could have that should be public in this new world

    Herpes Spread During Sports
Herpes Simplex Virus can be spread through contact with an individual who has been infected or his or her secretions. Therefore, one of the most common locations that someone might be exposed to Herpes Simplex Virus is through sports.
Furthermore, the locker room is often a breeding ground for pathogens, including Herpes Simplex Virus. In the locker room, people often shower together, sweat together, and create an environment that is conducive to the spread of the virus. Contact with another person, his or her clothing, or even the floor itself might cause someone to contract this virus unknowingly. For this reason, it is important for everyone to use caution.

    Having a Teammate with Herpes
Sometimes, people are informed that they have a teammate who has recently been diagnosed with Herpes Simplex Virus. This can be unnerving, leaving people wondering what to do next. First, it is important to remain nonjudgmental. Having a diagnosis of HSV is a very personal matter and it can be hard for someone to disclose this to someone else.

I'm imagining being a teammate with his locker next to Rodgers locker...

Rodgers opens up his locker and teammate sees bottles of Zinc, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Ivermectin, and an IV bag full of antiviral therapeutic medicine.

Teammate Asks - Hey Rodgers...what's that stuff for ?

Rodgers responds - I need to protect myself just in case I catch Covid.

Teammate responds - What about me ? What you're doing does not protect me and your locker is next to mine.

Aaron Rodgers gets more unhinged by the minute. Now he is spouting all sorts of anti-vax and Ivermectin nonsense.

Aaron Rodgers makes first comments after testing positive for COVID-19, explains why he's not vaccinated
    https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...-covid-19-not-vaccinated-comments/6301054001/

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers made his first public comments Friday after testing positive for COVID-19, addressing why he told the news media in August that he was "immunized" and why he is not vaccinated.

Rodgers will not play in Sunday's game against Kansas City Chiefs and won't be allowed at the team facility for the next 10 days, according to NFL protocols.

He addressed the controversy and backlash on the "Pat McAfee Show," offering a strong rebuke of the entire process and referencing several debunked talking points among people opposed to the vaccine.

"I am somebody who's a critical thinker," he said. "I believe strongly in bodily autonomy and the ability to make choices for your body."

However, Rodgers said he is not a so-called "anti-vaxxer."

"I am not a COVID-denier or any (expletive) like that," Rodgers said. "I just wanted to make the best choice for my body."

Rodgers said he has been tested daily per NFL protocol and said he was "in the cross hairs of the woke mob right now.

"So, before my final nail gets put in my cancel culture casket, I'd like to set the record straight on so many of the blatant lies out there. I tested for COVID over 300 times before testing for possible positive and I probably got it from a vaccinated player," Rodgers said.

Rodgers also said he consulted with his friend Joe Rogan and mentioned ivermectin, a medicine that is generally used to treat threadworms, roundworms and other parasites. That medicine is not approved for use in batting COVID-19 by the Food and Drug Administration.

"The specific protocol, I am going to keep between me and my doctors," he said.

Rodgers said he was excited for his backup Jordan Love to play against the Chiefs and has talked to him concerning Sunday's game.

"I feel really good and if this was the flu, I would be playing on Sunday. I hope we can take a step make with the lying and the witch hunt," he said.

The guy lied to the media about being vaccinated and the only reason why the media, team doctors, teammates, and the NFL became suspicious because he used the words "I'm immunized" like a coward.
    • The Packers need to provide an explanation about how Rodgers was able to play several games this season while not providing any proof of vaccination. Simply, did the Packers submit fake vaccination documentation for Aaron Rodgers ?
If the Packers did not and Rodgers did not...that would then imply the NFL is only using verbal confirmation from the athletes about their vaccination status.

Regardless, Rodgers could have been straightforward like some of the other professional athletes via just saying he doesn't want to be vaccinated. That would then enable those in his environment to protect themselves.
    • His teammates know who he hangs out with...in private...outside of football.
After all those years of taking pain killers for injuries, rubbed down with mysterious muscle rubs, running away from 350 pound people trying to tackle him along with chewing (double cheeks) tobacco early in his football career...

He's now worried about vaccines when he should have been more worried about the status of his multi-million dollar contract with a quarterback behind him that was specifically drafted in 2020 in the first round by Greenbay as it was preparing to move on from Rodgers.

    The lying part
tells me he's not willing to protect his teammates from him and now he wants to blame it on someone that's vaccinated while ignoring the fact that he hangs out with unvaccinated people in his private life.

    #bullshit

P.S. If he was smart...he would have stated he was vaccinated and that his positive Covid test was either a breakthrough infection or incorrect. Then he could have blamed it on vaccines that it doesn't work. :D

As I suspected, the Greenbay Packers coaching staff and management knew Aaron Rodgers was in fact not vaccinated even after his lie about being "immunized" to the media.

Heads are going to roll...people will lose their job...thanks to Aaron Rodgers stunt.

I'm willing to bet that there are many other NFL players and coaching staff that have been playing / interacting with the media, teammates families, and the public while not vaccinated even after the NFL announced their rules for opening the league this year.

Are NFL players required to be vaccinated?

There is no vaccine mandate for NFL players, but the league has created strict guidelines surrounding the coronavirus.

The league sent a memo in July that said if a game cannot be played due to an outbreak among unvaccinated players and cannot be rescheduled during the season, the team with the outbreak will be credited with a loss in a forfeit. On top of that, no players -- from either team -- will be paid for the canceled game. The team with the outbreak will then have to cover financial losses and be subject to possible discipline from the league...

From the joint NFL-NFLPA protocols: "All players and staff who are not fully vaccinated must wear masks (surgical masks are preferred; gaiters and masks with valves or venters are prohibited) at all times when inside the Club facility."

    -------

The issue is that a player should not be allowed to LIE about their vaccination status considering many NFL athletes socialize and allow others into their home via the assumption the person is vaccinated.
    • Rodgers should have just stated his vaccination status is a private issue to the media, coaching staff and the league.
The other issue, the media, and teammates have reported that Rodgers does not wear a face mask in the indoor Club facility. Yet, the team knew he was not vaccinated.

Here's something else, one player on Greenbay that tested positive is not an outbreak. What will the NFL do when Rodgers gets cleared of Covid...will he be allowed to play while not vaccinated considering there's probably many like him in the NFL watching this closely that also want to play while not vaccinated and want to continue using their club indoor facilities.

I see this blowing up into a bigger issue and other NFL athletes will take advantage via not getting vaccinated and wanting to interact with others in the public (e.g. coaching staff, media) regardless to the health status of those they're interacting with.

I was under the impression although he was not vaccinated he still followed with all the rules?

Did anyone ask to see any type of record? He said he was immunized, lol. That should have been a clue. But hey, you’re an MVP... I think I raised this question (although Tom Brady for example) once before - Money talks.

Just because he tested positive, no big deal. So did Peppermint Patty. People need to get over this “testing positive” stigma. Damn near everyone who tests positive recovers.

    Inb4 the Brother’s B, G.W. & W.R. show up.....

If you have health problems, you’re over 65. If you’re scared of the virus. Go get jabbed, once, twice, three times a charm.

Now where’s my cheese head hat?

There are questions over if Aaron Rodgers was following the rules. Being unvaccinated he should not have been mixing indoors with vaccinated teammates indoors outside of "work" at parties, etc. Especially since he was lying to his teammates about his vaccination status.

    That's the point...

Not only was he not following the rules indoor in the Club facilities.

He was not vaccinated, not wearing a face mask, and interacting with coaching staff and media...some of them have underlying medical conditions.
    • The type of medical conditions that Covid likes its host to have.
It's like giving someone a gun and you tell them there are no "live rounds" in it when in fact you (Greenbay Packers) know there's a live round in it.

Yeah, I'm sure the person with the gun will be OK. Ooops...that's another story. :D
