You really need to look at NFL revenue from a per franchise perspective. More franchises mean more overall revenue -- gut the real measure of revenue is the average per franchise.

    Here is the recent data.

You really need to look at NFL revenue from the prospective of total NFL revenue. Its been going up every even during the kneeling.

A few poorly managed teams is not The NFL as a whole.

So let me ask -- which football league would earn more total revenue. A league with 4 teams or a league with 32 teams?

Funny. That's the same argument we've been making regarding the cops killing Blacks vs Whites debate.

NFL and NBA players get payed millions of dollars just for playing with a ball. NBA players get paid for bouncing a ball and NFL players get paid for running and catching a ball. What a country!
I like when these NBA and NFL players try acting thoughtful and intellectual when they are interviewed about semi serious topics, its rather funny. Or when they are viewed as good businessman such as Lebron James who basically rents out his name to some pizza franschize.
I guarantee immediately after Roger Goodell made that ridiculous, insincere video he immediately said “ honey , lock the doors, the blacks are rioting and they are coming to our neighborhood”..

And what argument is that..... that the shooting of people by police is a tiny percentage of non-police shooting people... so we should deal with the larger violent crime problem first

  7. Overall NFL revenue has been increasing whether by total or by team. There will always be a few at the bottom in any group of businesses but all 4 major sports have been growing with TV, merchandise, ticketing and licensing very well.

    No.

The argument is that Blacks are disproportionately more likely to be kill by cops than Whites; even though, the absolute total number of Whites killed is greater.

  9. Everyone involved in this risks going a bit too far is assuming never ending support regardless of circumstances. As we are seeing right now, once tipping points are hit things change very quickly and quite dramatically. I doubt the NFL is going broke, but in stadium attendance may fade a bit given Covid circumstances, ever increasing ticket costs, and now some potential for some brawls in the stands when those with opposing political views are seated next to each other. That hurts stadium vendors and local businesses. Once again it'll be the little guy taking the hit.
