Thats the same as the chart I posted.Between 2000 and 2018 there has been between 30 and 71 arrest and citations per year. There are 1700 players in The NFL each season.
So in summary it is obvious their violent arrest rate is way above that of the general population. You can argue why this is. Many already had significant violent legal trouble while still in high school and college. Is it because NFL players tend to be violent (aligning with the sport) or that many have taken one too many hits to the head causing traumatic brain injury? There are many perspectives on this.

Arrest rates for drunken driving and domestic violence both have fallen in step. DUI arrests are down to about nine per year since January 2015, compared to 15 per year from 2005-2014. Domestic abuse arrests dipped from about seven per year from 2005-2014 to about five per year since 2015.
Amusing. Too bad the actual list of arrests do not correlate with your assertion (and source). Bottom line -- even at 5 per year the percentage of domestic violence arrests for the NFL is way above the general population. Good that they are making progress in the right direction, but there is considerable more work to do.
They get a pass from liberal judges and prosecutors who look the other way. What else could it be? Average joes do not get preferential treatment.
2018 total arrest is 1.7 %. Most of the last 20 years it has been less than 5 % Conviction rate even lower.
