Just found a citation that reports that the NFA is finally getting around to the issue of stop hunting. Now they're supposedly going to require brokers document pricing aberrations. Anyone care to weigh in on whether they'll ever really get around to sanctioning a broker for spiking?

The thought occurred to me that once brokers are required to keep maintain exception reports, traders are going to have a far easier time getting the CFTC's attention and the NFA involved. If there are enough complaints, neither of those agencies will be able to ignore the problem as they obviously have in the past.
