In my experience the next booms are almost always very creepy. After the internet bust everyone was point fingers at Biotechnology as the next bull+tiger. As it came to happen, housing and commodities took the seats of the winners of the stock market jungle.

It seems energy for one will hold it's ground for a while and housing will NOT go away as it is the basic ESSENTIAL of human societies. American families worth is built around housing after all.

New Cold War? Don't think so. Either side cannot afford it and it is not worth it afterall.

Astrologically earth is going through the transition period of 2000 year old cycle. Age of Picses is giving way or has already given way to the Age of Acquarius. Expect many new innovations, like internet already revolutionalized our lives. Expect new philosophies or religious beliefs crop into our lives. Environmental repair technologies/lifestyles can gain more strength. World might shift away from meat eating to more green menus.

    More focus towards mental peace..................

Commodities will be the next bubble, after the current bear run ends. So far they have only had a bull run - they did not get to the point where normal commodity stocks were selling at 50 times earnings, or tiny pink sheet mining stocks got bigger market caps than established blue chip stocks. The commodity markets need to reach a mania similar to dot.coms, where price is 5-10 times more than fair value, and even your barber is touting commodities. Only then will the bull run end.

This is just a bear market in a secular bull run, a bit like 1975.

In any case, it's not necessary to identify the next bubble in advance. Just look at the new 52 week highs list, and you are guaranteed to find every single stock that ever goes up massively, way before it makes it advance.
