Pertaining to what? Be more specific. No, you just remain quiet (acquiescent?) until one particular side gets the heat. And only then do you go on the offensive. Just as any other objective and philosophical observer would do.
I think it's based more on the quantity of material than anything else. I think the legitimate media, which excludes Farce News and MSNBC, make an effort to present in an unbiased manner. Although there are jokers on both sides, I think the political Right provides the media with an embarrassment of riches. You go with what you got. Why do you think Stewart and Colbert are so much funnier than Right Wing comedians? Material.
Well, a lot of the evidence to support this type of claim against him was demanded by the courts in 1999. He fought it for a while, but the judge ruled in favor of his wife and demanded everything from phone bills of Callista, to a record of all women he had sexual relations with. To the detriment of his career at the time, he used his typical scorched-earth approach to the proceedings. But then when he realized that everything was going to be exposed and there was no getting out of it just before the divorce proceedings Newt arranged a settlement. Marrianne got a heafty payout and the private stuff stayed private. But let's jump back to the alleged false allegations of the first divorce. His wife claims that he blind sided her with the divorce and attaches an unflattering image of him visiting the hospital to discuss the terms. Newt in his typical way, denies it and gets his daughters (just like in the current case) to side with him and claim that it was actually their mother who wanted the divorce and Newt was just accommodating her wishes. But the facts from the divorce proceedings actually side with their mother. court documents obtained by CNN from Carroll County, Georgia, indicated that Jackie had asked a judge to block the process stating that although "she has adequate and ample grounds for divorce... she does not desire one at this time [and] does not admit that this marriage is irretrievably broken. Again, I'm saying that this is well within his pattern of behavior. A person would have to be crazy to side with Newt on this one.
True to form, you will never simply admit you are wrong about something. I have made many attacks on conservatives on this site, and i have also praised Obama for the very few things i thought he did right in my mind. It isnt something i do regularly, but i have no problem taking people to task over ridiculous arguments against Obama.
Sure it is easier to joke about quirky cultural issues of conservatives. But in terms of the news media, there is a well documented bias. That is why Fox News does so well in the ratings. It is pretty much the only group slanted the other direction. You have the majority of the news outlets biased toward liberals, and they split support. You only have one biased toward Fox and they enjoy great ratings as a result.
No, I obviously acknowledge what you wrote. However, it is more the exception than the rule. As for scant praise, what else can you possibly do in your right mind for Obama's having taken out OBL. But where were you when he was characterized as someone who's totally incompetent, wants to destroy the country, hates the rich and so on? Adding fuel to the fire.
It is pretty funny that right after trying to take me and Maverick to task over being biased, this is your next post.....
