Newt just managed to spin the "open marriage" thing into a positive. This guy is amazing, trying to pin him down is like trying to nail jello to a wall. (literally) I think he is actually going to win south Carolina now. Boy his ex-wife is going to be sorry that she brought this up, she was trying to ruin Newts chances, and she just gave him what i am assuming is going to be a huge bump in the polls right before the primary. Yeah, that was a pretty strong, best defense is a good offense response by Newt. Not sure it will play in the longer term, but why not? I personally could care less about Newt being a player, at least in his own mind. c
Its uncanny how good Newt is at doing this, he just looks like this fat little turd, that anyone should be able to beat up on, and every time a reporter thinks they have him by the balls, they end up walking away bow legged from the conversation wondering what the fuck just happened to them. I knew it The spurned ex-wife card. And he played it well. With lots of righteous indignation on top of it. Mittens still wins tho. It will be more fun is Newt won. Obama will not play the ex-wife card. TeamObama goes after Newt, if needed, on his record in the Congress.
Actually most intelligent people realize that the media has turned into complete garbage, and they dont simply cheer for them just because they have a liberal spin like you do. The fact that some he said/she said story about Newts marriage from 15 years ago managed to completely take over the news cycle when people are dying over seas, and the world is basically falling apart is proof to most thinking people that the media is complete trash, and Gingrich was absolutely right, that it is despicable that CNN would bring up an unverifiable story from a scorned ex lover from 15 years ago during a presidential debate.
Obviously Mitt is still going to win, I just love the way that the question backfired on John King. In my eyes it is 60/40 that Obama will win at this point, if i knew that Obama was going to win anyways i would cheer for Newt, just because he is so much fun to watch in the debates.
