took a long at breakout of triangle, missed my intended entry because of software problems, ended up chasing it a bit and moving stop up before I wanted to. Got stopped out. would have had a little profit if i got the entry right. -1.25 / -$25 per contract
CL trades - took an impulse short against my system, regretted it straight away and managed to get out for break even.
NQ trades - took a long after breakout of triangle after higher low, and pullback to trendline. net +2.875 / $57.5 per contract
6e trades - Haven't traded 6e in a while... giving it another go. Took a short at bounce off good downtrendline, out for small profit. Took a long at break of trendline + last high, after a higher low. net +0.0012 / $150 per contract
CL trades need to work on discipline. took first long on break of W formation... ignored the resistance of the triangle and paid for it - stopped out. took next long on break of triangle like I should have, 1/2 off at resistance and tried to hold last half but exited early... Could have had more profit if I held for longer. Net -0.04 / -$40 per contract
NQ trades Didn't take any NQ trades today but posting this for the record. Not sure what to make of this. I was looking for to short in the highlighted area, but price broke through the trendline before showing strength to the downside then breaking to the upside, which looked like chop to me. On hindsight the long could have been justified by the trendline break and retracement to the 50% line, but it still looks too choppy enter. Would have been at least $200 per contract if I took it though.
nq trades, obvious entries but no big wins. trying a new approach to exits that didn't really pay off on NQ. net +2.25 / $45 per contract
CL trades price was retracing while bouncing around in a channel, so tried a short scalp at the top of the channel. exited early for breakeven, should have held until target. other short was break of channel and continuation of strong downtrend. net +0.34 / $340 per contract
6e trades simple short at trendline. put up a fight at support and couldn't get through it. net +0.00045 / $56.25 per contract
