I'm a senior finance major from a top business school and I'm looking at a couple of prop trading firms in Chicago: Group One and Spot Trading. Group trades on the floor, Spot is off the floor upstairs. Any opinions on these two firms? What is typical pay like your first year trading after you get through the training phase? Any comments good/bad would be greatly appreciated!
