Hey Traders, I am new to trading, and I love the idea option trading. But I have zero experience and hardly know anything about options except for the basics. Can anyone recommend a(mentor) or videos/books on how to make a living trading options? Thanks.
Start with books...FREE seminar's (thinkorswim) threads...read from the beginning. It helps if you have a background in stocks..the books that helped me are Laurence McMillan.."Options as a Strategic Investment" and Sheldon Natenberg's " Option Pricing and Volitility". GL
"The Option Trader Handbook: Strategies and Trade Adjustments" by Jabbour & Budwick. "Options trading: The Hidden Reality" by Cottle (Cottle's book is a bit hard for a beginner so start with the other ones).
For a beginner level I recommend : Mcmillan Options as a strategic investment. Intermediate : Natenburg Option Volatility and Pricing Advanced : Cottle Should Coulda Woulda. This was the way it was recommended to me and I found each book built on the previous.
