Newbie Question: stock pricing

Discussion in 'Trading' started by JasonTheGreat, Apr 3, 2007.

  1. May seem stupid to some of you but it crossed my mind and I cant think of a better place to ask:

What is the lowest value a stock can ever reach?

I know that stocks are only traded to 4 decimal places (example 0.0012) but can a stock ever reach 0.0000? I see over 100 stocks at 0.0001 but none at 0.0000.

Other than a company not complying with regulations is there ever a situation where a company(stock) is removed from any trading board.

    Thanks

  2. Chapter 11

  3. It is rounded off

  4. I haven't read up on the pink sheets in a while... but I think a current Form 211 is all a company needs to remain quoted there. i.e., the stock is listed indefinitely until MMs stop quoting it
