  1. I am a complete newbie but I have made lots of paper money so will see how it goes.

I am curetnly long 10 cars on the ES since Friday close.

  2. Papertrading, as you know, is stress free. When are you going to cash?

  3. Well, I was going to start this week, but the condition of the market kinda scares me right now. I have a good system in place with auto trailing stops after T1, T2, etc. but man this volotility just is scary for a newbie like me.

  4. Good thinking. If you don't have experience in this market, stay on the sidelines. Remember, cash is a position also. :)

  5. Good luck with the paper trading (almost next to useless in this case), and try not to employ the trading techniques that you learned from Pureschtick in your search for profitability.

P.S. How does it feel to have me in your head duh-juicey? ... yep, with every post you make.

  6. How's this position looking right about now? :p

Oh, riiiiiiiiight, you said you were only paper trading, LOL, good thing, isn't it?

You should "stay on the paper" for a loooooooong time.

Hey, what's your next call going to be?

    LOLOL :D

  7. man this ES is pretty fun, started trading ES live on fri and got +37 on fri and tonight +33 tonight (only 1 contract of course)

  8. Went live (real money) trading 2 contracts on the ES this week using a new system I developed, using the 34 ema and the 30 lsma and a decimal deviation. I made over 70 points with 3 stop outs.

I may change to slightly longer term as I'm using range bar candlesticks (2.0 setting) and see if I can control the stops better.

  10. Nice job Mandel, I think we use a similiar code for the breakouts. Are you using the 30 lsma or the 25 lsma?? I sent PM with part of the same breakout code that u have. Also, if you employ a mutiple lined algo such as "if Bar Close/EMA(34)>1.0001set color to "x" you can avoid the chop altogether. expecially when using range bars.

    Take care and good trading
