I am new to day-trading, trying to keep my entry amount small but I am looking for stocks that give the opportunity for big moves intra-day. So far I have zeroed in on AAPL and FB. Are there a few companies/symbols that can compete with those for price action during trading hours (and are preferably not as expensive as GOOG and AMZN) and are not from the tech sector? Thanks for the help.
Look at ADM... They are large...An industry leader. They are very boring. They fired their CFO (accounting problems). Their earnings come out this week...No one know when (or what it will say). It could be just a minor accounting error...Or big time!! I think it was shady accounting to try and get bonuses. The feds and attorneys are circling. This is a good company...But the next week will be interesting.
For day trading right now TSLA & SMCI are extremely volatile. For non-tech stocks COST BA SPR ELF ANF are very volatile as well.
