“At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries."

It appears to happen here more frequently than other countries, but others are not immune. Other places, the motive seems to be fairly black and white, here, it's often not clear why someone picked up an AR 15, walked into a school and shot a bunch of kids.

  3. They want gun control.

People will get tired of mass shootings and will vote for gun control.

When was the last mass shooting in New Zealand? How many have they had in the last 25 years?

The shooters manifesto cited Candice Owens and Donald Trump, was laced with anti immigrant and anti Muslim hatred and identified with white extremists and previous mass shooters who carried out their acts racial reasons.

'The person that has influenced me above all was Candace Owens, each time she spoke I was stunned by her insights.'

To put this into perspective, here in the US federal law enforcement has cited right wing extremists and their groups as the greatest threat to homeland security.

Why don't I see the same hateful reply from you when Muslims killed others?

Both Donald Trump and the United States has condemned this hateful attack on the mosques in New Zealand but exGOPer and his ilk on the left are busy trying to spin the entire thing into an anti-Trump narrative.

There’s nothing hateful about the truth. We are in a time of hatred spreading from the right wing. You think this stuff doesn’t have an effect but it does.

If you want to discuss immigration, we can discuss immigration but vilifying immigrants and Muslims is what leads to these atrocities.

And no, you don’t get to lecture me on condemning people and the rhetoric that leads to Muslims killing innocent people. I already do. But we are already openly combatting that.

This right wing stuff has too much political cover and is growing. The amount of misinformation and hate filled speech you guys on the right consume and share with one another is completely destructive.

I will say this again homegrown right wing extremists are the biggest homeland security threat to America- that’s from our law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

Think about that as our president continues to undermine law enforcement from a right wing position and how it is enabling and stoking right wing extremism.
