Read an article last week that Dubai is straining financially as they actually have very little oil income....it is more real estate and financial services that supports them...

They will be protected/supported by neighbors who have the oil money..

That was something I did not know.....

  5. Obama is making the eternal mistake of believing terrorists will respond favorably if we can only weaken our defenses.

Cheney can observe which parts of our defense Obama is dismantling. Today, Cheney says a nuclear attack on the U.S. is now inevitable.

After 9/11, the wealthiest NY'ers moved permanently to their vacation homes which were out of reach of further attacks. The WSJ stated their kids were pulled from the NY schools and enrolled in the new locations. If you live in NY, consider moving at least 30 miles away from the downtown area.

Who cares? London has two main advantages: you can trade all 3 major timezones there, and foreigners pay no tax on worldwide income. Minor advantages: hotter women, thanks to proximity of Europe and higher immigration; better beer; hell, it even has (slightly) better weather than NYC!

There are more American banks in London than there are in New York, and it's not because they like tea and "soccer".
