Can't complain much as to where Billionaires spend their 9 or 10 figure kitty. However, have to really question where the governments spend the tax dollars.
When your wrong, which it looks like you are and you scared snowflakes forced everyone to lose there jobs over something minor then we are going to come looking for you and give you something to be scared about. You can't PREVENT it, it's not that bad, stop being scared unless you have health issues, then stay home and wait for this to all blow over. Watch Sweden!!
Wonder if any Swedes on here. I keep seeing articles and talking about how it’s not business as usual. Plenty of things are shut down and unemployment is higher than 2008 already. So whose telling the real story.
Sure it's not perfect over there but it's got to be better than rest of the world. Still going to lose jobs as can't work with anyone from outside the country as we are all home bored, watching TV.
New Cases coming down ( might be a blip ) in NYC, might be lockdown effect, should of spread enough for Herd in that area, so minor 2nd wave if any. Most other areas expect moderate to major 2nd waves.
Hey Flu kills roughly 35K Americans per year on average since 2011. This virus has already killed roughly 35K since mid Jan when first casualty happened........in 3 months. Hence at the best this is 4x more deadly and infectious than flu. When left 1 to 1 i.e. no lockdowns no excessive precautions meaning at worst................it is called 10x more vicious than flu. That brings the figure to 350K. Also, normal people recoup from flu in 2-3 days but this takes good 14-21 days even for the young population. One thing noticed that casuality rate in US is roughly 3-4% of the infections, while those in Europe (Italy, Spain, UK) etc. it is 10-12% of the infections. This means the quality of healthcare in US is much better although it is twice as expensive also. So imagine the damage from leaving this virus having a free run in various countries in Europe. So if you still call this something minor, then it is your own problem from wrong opinion.
Can t remember if unemployement is already higher than in 2008, but the country is getting hurt as well with the coronavirus crisis indeed. Yet apparently restaurants and bars still open, with bars required to sit customers so they don t stand elbow to elbow, several gyms also open ( i checked a few gyms websites yesterday noticed one (mma) decided to close at the moment, and others were showing the timetable without extra note), and no forced lockdown. Social distancing encouraged by the government but largely not forced. Borders open with most european countries and I think also a few more Huge difference with most countries' restrictions Curious to read feedback from locals as well, wouldn t be great to show up there and be discriminated against obviously as a new arrival ffrom a country harder hit by the virus.
I consider the damage being done not worth the few lives being saved, there is no reason to believe the lock downs have yet saved any lives. The reason for the lockdowns is, this was supposed to be 25x's worse than it's being, which even Italy with it's experience has said thankfully it's 1/25th as deadly as we thought. UK no where near hospital capacity without the extra hospitals built before the lockdown would of kicked in, therefore no lockdown required. It's a nasty virus, it's killing people very few as a percentage of population 0.1% area ( maybe 0.2% for the USA, UK looking like 0.05% ) Don't be complaining when you have no job, money and everything which comes with. Circle of life, old people die, new 1's are born, accept this. p.s. bad cases that long, 3 - 4 days for me and everyone I know.
UK everything shut, pubs and gyms shut just before lockdown, food shops and petrol stations only, even then at times 1hour cue to get into them, or others placing your order outside. Back is killing me, need gym and jacquizi
