Democrats are openly pushing for these taxes. Love Trump or hate him, got to vote for him for lower taxes and less regulations.
Would love to see a quote from a NY state legislator "openly pushing for these taxes"? Should be easy for you to find, you seem so sure of yourself on this you must actually have a source rather than just deciding that you know what NY state democrats are pushing for better than they do?
Let's look at what you just said reveals about what you really know about news. Yahoo News, that's a "liberal news source"? You know there's no actual Yahoo News organization with reporters who write stories, right (clearly you don't)? They are simply a news aggregator who publish news stories from literally hundreds of news sources, left, right, and center. Did you seriously think that Yahoo was responsible for those stories and didn't realize you were reading AP, Reuters, Fox, CNN.... stories when you read something on Yahoo News? Unbelievable. If you've got a quote from CNN of them doing the equivalent of this story, saying that a specific group of Republicans are contemplating an action that none of those specific Republicans are actually contemplating I'd love to see it. If you can't produce that, then that says everything that needs to be said about your opinion on the matter....well that and the whole "liberal Yahoo News" thing.

Are any of those folks NY state legislators? That's the allegation of the article and the subject of the thread.
This one is, FWIW (see blow). I'd give it a zero-chance, considering how easy it is for exchanges and banks to move.
I stand corrected, didn't realize the FTT actually technically is already on the books in NY. Agree that there's zero chance of it happening. Not only because it wouldn't work, but because it would be about as popular as an additional tax on corn in Kansas given who at least the majority of the congressional delegates represent.
You're kidding right? This guy is a Yahoo News reporter...... (his articles are below) https://www.yahoo.com/author/michael-walsh/ He writes for Yahoo News. It clearly says it. So yes Yahoo is responsible for A LOT of news stories. Yes they're also an aggregator too but it leans as far left as humanly possible. It's a mix of liberal news sources (70-80%). They can't put conservative news on Yahoo because if they did the crybabies working there would have an absolute fit. Same with CNN. CNN used to be a decent news source but unfortunately they turned it into a tabloid. I have nothing from CNN because they don't like to cover anything except for Trump, Race-baiting, and whatever liberal agenda they try to push for the day. But i'm done arguing with you. You're too far gone.
So what does this say about you? Seems like you come on here and spread a bunch of crap. An editor for Yahoo News...... https://www.yahoo.com/author/david-knowles/ But how can that be? Look at his articles. More left-wing news
Still waiting for your example. I know, asking you to substantiate what you allege is "going to far", but seems pretty fair. And yeah, I guess if you consider "The FBI Agents Association (FBIAA) repeated its call for the partial government shutdown to end, arguing that it is undermining the bureau’s ability to protect the nation." as fake left wing news, then you'd consider pretty much anything fake left wing news. (The guy left Yahoo two years ago about the time they basically shut down their news operation, hence the old example).
