At least you're smart enough to not dispute facts. Instead , since you have no counterpoint, like a typical Dem, you post drivel. Good job.

One last time idiot. Coal mining employment declined during Clinton's 8 years in KY. Graphical data shows that. Employment then increased by 16-17% during the Bush years. Then they declined yet again under Odumbo. All of this is factual. No opinion in any of this. Go check with Bureau of Labor Statistics for KY.

Why does your analysis exclude the Reagan and Bush 1 years?

I have a theory but I want to hear from you given your college education in Obama and Weak Market Theory.

This is true, I do get upset when someone bursts my bubble. But I'm not upset, because you have yet to accomplish it. :(

The counterpoint is too simple to have to spell out, but apparently I have to, for you: the coal industry, like most industries, rises and falls with the economy. Obama has had nothing to do with the trend, or the blips. I deserve some credit for the former, at least in recent times.

LOL. Coal has been a source of energy for a long, long time. And demand for energy in the US has not decreased. Energy is a necessity, unlike other industries, where a product may be 'nice to have' (that do suffer during recessionary times). Do you understand why your above argument is like swiss cheese (full of holes)?

Hmm, my only way out of your airtight argument would be if there are other sources of energy. Not sure I can come up with any!

  10. hee hee, liberal whiners don't like it that Red States are getting the benefit of their tax and spend policies.

BTW: Coal is horrible. More radiation is emitted from coal plants than from nuclear ones! [discounting chernobyl and fukushima]. The mercury poisoning of the oceans is from coal burning. If coal is on the decline it's a good thing for sustainability. We could have had safe Thorium energy all along, that still amazes me that we couldn't just go for the Thorium plants. I guess it had something to do with the cold war and building of nukes or maybe it was unions, our nuke plants are hugely labor-intensive because of all the cooling apparatus.
