New York AG files civil fraud lawsuit against Trump, some of his children and his business

I have seen some long ass complaints filled with nothing but allegations. You dont need need facts to file a lawsuit.

 

One things for sure, Trump doesn't have monopoly on shady land deals.

Why automatically assume she has an airtight case just because she filed a 300 page complaint... that is not how it works.
Good luck proving tax fraud.


Instead of talking to TV non stop perhaps running for her next political position...file the thing present the case and get a judgement.

Perhaps she wants to inoculate herself and her team against MAGA crazies as best she can by justifying the action via broadcast. The gun-toting, phone-call-threatening cockroaches probably don't study court filings before they go decide to go medieval. So the announcement and the underlying rationale may legitimatize the action at least in the eyes of those whose brains have not yet been submerged in MAGA sewage past the point of no return.

And it's not like she's the first AG who ever made such a public announcement. Why are you so quickly buying into Trump's "political witch-hunt" narrative? It's not as though you like the guy.
