Father traded bonds, and no I am not in the pits, I am in the building but over the screens. Bond pits are pretty quiet anyways seeing as almost all the volume is over the screen now.
what did your grandfather do? try his vocation. i think your wasting your time in these markets. your young enough to start a career in a proper job with a paid salary. forget this business. its full of pretty much idiots , washed up floor traders and wanna be screen traders who last about two years with no salary. go see the world and come back in a few years.
Haha that may be some of the most sound advice given in this thread yet, but once you're in you're hooked. I have been around the markets for as long as i can remember, and worked in them now for about 5 years. I am aware of the ups and downs and I know although it may not work out, it is better to try and fail then to have never tried and only wondered what could have been.
Be careful from whom you take advice in here. Read a lot to create context, try different approaches to trading and keep working to get better.
