@destriero Thanks for the reply. So no TACO, got it.
Im sorry but after reading your explanation multiple times I still cant understand what the differences are btwn ES1!, ES2!, and the others. What does volume have to do with anything? What rollover

Also why do you say ESU19? Thats the Sept Futures. Wouldn't I want to trade ESM19 (Expiring June '19) not the Sept one?

Im sorry for my noobish-ness. Crypto is my baby. Futures is all new to me.

    Sorry, typo. Yes, ESM2019.

What I am attempting to convey is that list is unique to AMP. The continuous contract ES1! will automatically rollover when the forward becomes the liquid contract. Continuous contract usually refers to historical data (adjusted charts).

It’s not a clearing thing—it’s a minor quoting convention related to your front end.

Quoting ESM2019 will simply stop quoting after June ex. Quoting ES1! will rollover to Sep automatically. All this means is that you won’t have to quote each quarterly rollover if you use ES1!

Trading (today) from the quote line ES1! or trading ESM2019 will result in the same thing... trading June ES.
