New Symbol for ER2?

  1. Trying to add the Dec contract for ER2 tonight. No quote. Anyone know if the symbol has changed? I recall that Ice was going to trade it (don't know if that's now), but does the CME have a new contract?

  2. at IB i think it's supposed to be "RUT", but the choice i get makes no sense.

  3. On IB its RUT and then select TF. You will need to subscribe to ICE data. TO is the big RUT contract. TF is the normal smaller one.

  4. I already got ICE. But are you telling me that CME is just going to let this contract go? I'm surprised.

  5. From what i heard CME has no choice. ICE stole it with an exclusive agreement at the last minute.

  6. Yeah, I heard that too. But I figured CME would come up with an alternative index. Amazing.

  7. The CME has been promoting the S&P Midcap 400 (symbol EMD) as a replacement for the ER2, but so far the volume is anemic.

The S&P SmallCap 600 (symbol SMC) is just dead.

  8. Can someone post the "ticker" and "exchange" which works for Excel DDE quotes for the December RUT mini contract on ICE?

    I've tried w/o success:
    RUT & NYBOT
    RUT & ICE

  9. TF is R2K emini symbol on ICE.
