Hey, you gonna answer my questions in the DeSantis thread? You know, provide proof of your claims? Because all you do is pop in a thread, throw a stone, and run off. Unless your intent is to troll...

COVID was a problem, no doubt. And I've never said otherwise - despite your claims that I have. But its not the issue now that you folks made it to be. You've been Chicken Littles for all of recent memory.

And you all seem to think that locking down and destroying the lives of the healthy was a better strategy to deal with a virus... than protecting the high risk the better and letting the healthy live.

Show me some posts where I am a "Chicken Little". You just seem to be posting bs right now. Not respecting medically advised precautions is not a virtue.

Funny you talk about "trolling" but when the discussion gets difficult you start "trolling" ( you don't care about Canada, but what about population density, how dare you compare Southern Ontario to Florida they are worlds apart ... ). I know, I know, you got anxious again.

Trump, lockdowns and face mask mandates is now in the past.

Biden has been opening up the economy, vaccinations has resulted in declining Covid numbers, states removing face mask mandates, states opening up again, hospitalizations are down, ICUs are down and markets making new highs...

Yet, they still keep bitching as if Trump was still here, yelling protect the high risk / let everyone else live and Trump / lockdowns are still here. New reality...its now just a painful recent history and they need to get over it.

    It's Pure Madness

There’s a new study it out. It says that if you don’t get the COVID vax immediately you will die at or near your life expectancy. Check it out.

I've offered you numerous opportunities to discuss data. You never want to do it. You just want to whine and bitch and moan and yes, be a Chicken Little.

I couldn't care less about Canada. But whenever you bring it up, I'd like to discus why you think its so much better. You just never do.

I've asked you to provide Toronto specific info. You've yet to do it. You just want to make claims, but don't want to provide data.

You can't compare a country like Canada in total to a state like Florida (or any other state) for numerous reasons. You need similar population dispersion, similar climate, etc. I've said this numerous times. But you get all emotional and can't grasp this, despite your claimed "Mensa" status (what a laugh).

Let's discuss some actual data. What claim do you want to make? Support it with data. Who knows? I might actually agree if you have information to back up your bitching.

Or it could just the opposite.... democrat areas were more likely to designate anyone who died a a covid death even if other causes were likely the real cause.

Very hard to know without a real in depth analysis...

I would to examine the data in places where their were no economic pressures or political pressures put on hospitals and coroners. (if such areas exist.)

    2. Finally being that 96 to 99 percent or of Covid deaths were to old people and people with co morbidities ... can we really assume its not frequently a judgement call as to the real reason for death.

This Doesn’t account for excess death at all.

That makes no sense to me... as I am not disputing that people died...

I am saying that using models to assign excess deaths to covid is the questionable practice. My mom died a bit early. I believe its because she was isolated in her old folks room. No longer having family or social contacts.. far less movement... etc.

That happened to tons of Seniors... who did not have Covid... ask the staff.
But I am not claiming the excess deaths were due to loneliness and lack of exercise...

I am just saying 99 percent of models are designed with a result in mind and they find that result 99 percent of the time.
